Based on the shaping developed for Curiosity, …and Curiouser is a more elaborate and challenging knit. Initially I thought I would be able to “plug and play” with the lace & cables - but I ended up needing to fiddle with the increases a bit to get them to play nicely with the details. But I think the results are well worth the effort.

Button holes are incorporated into the lace to provide multiple options for styling the length of this scarf/shawlette - it can be worn as a cowl, scarf or shawl. And as with its predecessor, you can keep on knitting and end up with a piece of whatever length you desire. Testers used yarn in weights from Lace to DK and they all worked beautifully.

The pattern as shown takes a single skein of Finito, but should you have a larger skein of a sport weight yarn you can always make the matching Curiouser Mitts and still have the 200 yards to make this shawl at the sample size.

Skills Needed
This pattern is both completely written out and charted and includes a small schematic. Intermediate in complexity, you will be working yarn overs, simple decreases, simple increases, slipped stitches and simple cables.

Notions/Materials
At least 3 stitch markers and an optional shank style button.
