The twist of this cowl drapes beautifully when simply hung from your neck. When doubled, the cowl forms layers that embrace your neck and shoulders. Whichever way you choose to wear it, you don’t have to be concerned that “the wrong side” of the cowl will show. There is no wrong side. The textured fabric is reversible !!

The 7” by 47” sample cowl used 100 grams (254 yards) of aran weight cotton/silk/cashmere yarn, but most any aran or worsted (or even dk) weight “yummy” -- soft at your neck -- yarn will do. Simply adjust the number of stitches you cast on, and if necessary the number of rounds, to accommodate the different yarn and needle size.

You will need a long circular needle. At least 40” is recommended.

If this is your first time tackling the moebius cast-on (or if you need a refresher), a link to Cat Bordhi’s online video is provided in the pattern.
