The Basics pattern book contains instructions for 3 beginner knitting projects and each pattern is written for 3 different yarn weights (DK, Worsted or Bulky). It also includes links to video tutorials for all the basic techniques used (especially helpful if your a true-blue beginner).

This pattern book could also be useful if you are teaching someone to knit.
