Here’s a sock pattern for the non-conformist! It features a big black spider on a web of Chameleon Colorworks “Footsie”. The sock is worked top down on double pointed needles. The “web” is a fairly easy cable pattern using lengthened stitches that extends in a point down the front of the sock, tapering to the back. The sock is also cool looking without the spider!

You will need a card of sock reinforcement wool in black or light fingering weight yarn in black for the spider. This is a cool pattern for Halloween or goth people!

This is not a beginner pattern, but is fine for the intermediate knitter. it helps to have a bit of sock knitting experience.

Color of yarn used is Chameleon Colorwork Footsie “Black Cherry”. Black/lime green or black/orange yarn would also look great!
