Archivist (AR-kiv-ist)
A person who maintains and is in charge of archives.

Nothing says bookish quite like a removable peter pan collar. Add it to your favorite outfit for that perfect buried under a pile of books flair.

The Archivist Collar is a small technically interesting knit. Short row shaping creates an easy neckline curve and a series of increases and decreases blend easily into the classic peter pan collar shape. Diagrams and photos are included throughout the pattern to help illustrate the shaping process. Both sides of the collar are made the same way and are grafted together at the end. German Short rows are used to minimize interruptions in the fabric.

A very small explanation of German short rows is included in the pattern, but if it is a new technique to you you may need to read/watch additional tutorials about this particular short row technique. Please feel free to contact me if you run into any trouble with this, or any other part, of the pattern.
