I used beautiful Loopy Mango Dream for these stockings, along with some unique novelty yarns. Because each stocking needs about 1 ½ skeins, and ¼ skein for color work, you can mix and match to curate a collection quite easily.

This pattern uses a top-down, sock construction, with a quick and easy heel flap.

The decorative motifs are done using stranded color work, or intarsia. I give instructions for the very long floats. Both the Snowman and the Rabbit are knit in novelty yarns, although any of the motifs would look lovely in a decorative novelty yarn. If you choose to make the snowman or rabbit in plain worsted yarn, you could add some fun faces, or perhaps clothing, if you wish!
