Pattern Description from The Celtic Collection: “In this striking black and white sweater I have related two aspects of Celtic art from the earliest examples of metalwork and stonework. I like the contrast between the curving spirals used for the border and the straight lines of the fretwork pattern in the main fabric. I chose the dramatic monochrome colour scheme to accentuate the graphic quality of the design.”
