This colorful hat uses slip stitch knitting to create a pattern inspired by the rugged geography of the west. It was created for our community knitting group at Shuttles, Spindles and Skeins in Boulder. Feel free to use this pattern for your personal use, or for a community knitting project.

The child/youth size hat requires 75 yards each of two worsted weight yarns. The small/medium adult hat requires 100 yards of each yarn.

You will need 16” circular and double points of size 7 needles (or size needed to obtain gauge).
