Athenodorus is part of the ebook Ghosts: historiographies, cultural manifestations, and the knits they’ve inspired.

In a bit of knitterly magic, fingering weight yarn seems to transform to a bulky weight in this dramatic skirt.
The ribbon at the waist cinches the skirt in, keeping it in place functionally and fashionably. A whimsical garment, this piece will keep you warm through the autumn and winter months.

Wear it with a thinner ribbon, or insert an invisible elastic for a less dramatic look.

This knit includes a turned hem waist, which encloses a wide ribbon for cinching, and features four different yarn weights and gauges. The skirt transforms from a delicate, fingering-weight skirt at the waist to a substantial, lofty bulky weight at the bottom.

Because of the great changes in needle size, it is recommended that you have interchangeable needles.
