This is the first in a collection of throws based on the seasons. I was inspired to begin with Autumn after seeing the beautiful shades produced by Cambrian Mountains Wool, located like me in Wales, although any yarn with a similar weight and knitting to the same tension could be used.

The throw is knitted in two pieces bottom to top then joined with one seam. The edging is knitted by picking up stitches along each side using a 3.75mm circular needle 80cm long, then joining the corners. You will need to be able to do intarsia and stranded knitting. There are 3 chart pages for each side of the throw. The whole pattern is 9 pages.

Yarn quantities: Welsh Red (Rusty red) 5 x 50g; Mineral (Yellow) 5 x 50g; Gwymon (Green) 4 x 50g; Ironstone (Orange) 1 x 50g; Cegin (Light Grey) less than 10g; Shale (Charcoal) less than 20g; Bright red (not Cambrian Wools yarn - use a similar weight yarn in this shade) less than 5g.
