Pattern is written for aran/heavy worsted weight yarn however, explanation of how to convert the pattern to dk or lighter weight yarn is provided. Or you can use the additional instructions to adjust the size of your blanket to as big or as small as you would like-make a throw or bedspread or adjust for 4 ply yarn.

GAUGE: 2 complete shells, 8 rows = 3½ inches However, exact gauge is not essential. If your gauge is close to stated gauge, then your finished blanket will be close to stated finished size. If you don’t have similar gauge or you want to adjust the size of the blanket, please see instructions at the end of the pattern.
