This pattern is in ‘beta’ so I can have a few people try it out. Let me know if you do and if it works for you. There are several variations on this hat that are on my projects page but I have made so many more that have been knitted then given away so fast that I forgot to photograph them.

This is a ribbed baby hat that really fits, stays on, and gets used by moms! This pattern is more of a guide to my formula for creating these hats. It is a very good ‘last-minute’ shower pattern as it can be knit in a day or two using any yarn handy. Following the basic process are specific numbers for some yarns and needles I have used.

You will need a 16” circular and double points in the desired needle size.
