  • Style: this is a generically written pattern that we call a “Hatbag” . It utilizes three different stitch patterns to do most of the shaping. Eyelet holes allow a braided cord to be used to close the bag and to adjust for different head sizes. We suggest that you wear it as a hat so that you dont´t need to carry a bag until a bag is needed!

  • Shape & Fit: the edge is rolled and the closed end comes to a point. When worn as a hat it is an onion dome shape. This is a comfortable design no matter how it is used.

  • Yarn Selection: Yarns with good memory are suggested. If you do not want to line it, please do your gauge swatch on a smaller needle than the one recommended.

  • Skills & Finishing: Beginning knitting skills, decreasing, knitting in the round, as well as ability to work the following stitches is required: Stockinette,K2, p2 rib, Bee stitch, and Yo, k2tog.
