Single-ply Malabrigo Worsted is probably the softest
wool yarn I have worked with. The lack of twist creates
a smooth, slightly fuzzy surface. It’s perfect for this
simple, textured rib pattern. Hem, cuffs, and collar are all
worked in an easy 2x1 ribbing that flows organically in
and out of the main pattern.

  • SIZE & SKILL LEVEL Finished chest circumference - 26¼ (28¼, 30½, 32¾, 35) in / 66.5 (72, 77.5, 83, 89) cm. To fit sizes 4-6 (8, 10, 12, 14). Shown in size 4-6. Intermediate difficulty - knit, purl, decreases, picking up stitches, working in the round, short rows.
  • MATERIALS AND NOTIONS 3 (3, 3, 4, 4) skeins of Malabrigo Merino Worsted (100% merino wool; 100g / 210 yds / 192 m); #509 Sweet Grape. Always adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge. Stitch markers in two colours, stitch holders, and tapestry needle.
