Exploring the contrast between two gorgeously different Whistlebare yarns, the Bamburgh Cowl features stripes, slipped stitches and simple cables to create a striking geometric pattern.
Named after the wonderful Bamburgh Castle, the cowl is knitted in a sophisticated colour palette and its tessellating pattern is reminiscent of the cobbled and tiled floors found in this fairy-tale castle on the Northumberland coast.

Pattern has been professionally tech edited.
Worn with Ama Sweater in photos.

CONSTRUCTION
The Bamburgh Cowl is a cosy cowl worked side to side in the round to create a double-layered accessory. Stripes, slipped stitches and cables are worked to create a gorgeously satisfying all-over pattern.
After knitting and blocking, the two ends of the cowl are joined together by picking up stitches along the cast-on edge and knitting them together with stitches already on the needles.
