Barney Owl is a huggable squidgy knitted toy.

The pattern is designed for beginner knitters, but you will need to know how to knit, purl, cast on, cast off, increase using KFB (knit front and back), and decrease using K2TOG (knit two stitches together).

The pattern is 9 pages and includes row by row instructions so you don’t forget your place. You will need to sew the finished owl together, and step by step construction photos are included in the pattern.

All pieces are knitted flat on 3mm straight needles. To knit the owl you will need approximately 50g double knit yarn in green, 50g in grey, 10g in yellow, plus 100g toy stuffing.

The finished owl is approximately 12cm high.
