Pattern Description

This is the basic pattern for the horses in the book. Refer to this pattern when knitting them.

Yarn Requirements

- Horse--a DK weight wool, cotton, or
mixed-fiber yarn
- Muzzle and hooves--DK weight wool, cotton or fixed fiber yarn
- Mane and tail--lightweight mohair

Additional Materials

- Felt scraps in 3 colors for outer
and inner eyes and nostrils
- Stranded cotton embroidery thread
for sewing on eyes and nostrils
- Polyester toy stuffing
