Material: Any yarn of your choice will work. I included general sock-knitting instructions so you can adjust the pattern to your yarn and/or your size.
I knitted the socks for this pattern using sportweight yarn made from our sheeps’ wool.
I used 2 colors and a total weight of app. 3oz.
1 set of 5 double-pointed knitting needles size 1 (2.25mm),
stitch marker,
tapestry needle for weaving in the ends

Size: 10in. (25cm) from back of heel to toe, 8 1/2in. (21.5cm) foot circumference (women large)

Gauge: 13sts and 18rows to 2in (5cm) over Stockinette Stitch using needles size 1 (2.25mm).

If you are interested in our yarn ( Timberwolf Farm) I can send you information about what we have available at the time. Since we are selling at local markets, availability of our yarns varies. We have 2 alpacas and 11 sheep. We carry sportsweight and DK (light worsted) yarns in white and different shades of gray. Some of it is spun and blended by hand. I also dye yarn with plants from our garden (indigo, coreopsis, madder, marigold, weld) and with acid dyes from the Greener Shades brand.
