The pattern of this headband is a Filled Rhombus Cable with seed stitch edges.

I knitted the pictured headband using DK (light worsted) yarn made from our sheeps’ wool - Timberwolf Farm..
The size of the headband is 19in (48cm) long by 4.25in (11cm) wide. It is tapered in the back for a more comfortable fit.

To knit the headband you will need:
1 pair of knitting needles size 7 (4.5mm)
1 cable or double-pointed needle
1 tapestry needle for weaving in the ends
about 70 yards of DK yarn

We have 2 alpacas and 11 sheep. We carry sports weight and DK (light worsted) yarns in white and different shades of gray. Some of it is spun and blended by hand. I also dye yarn with plants from our garden (indigo, coreopsis, madder, marigold) and with acid dyes from the Greener Shades brand.
