I knitted the pictured headband using DK (light worsted) yarn made from our sheeps’ wool.
The size of the headband is 18in (45.5cm) long by 3in (7.5cm) wide. It is tapered in the back for a more comfortable fit.

To knit the headband you will need:
1 pair of knitting needles size 5 (3.75mm)
1 cable or double-pointed needle
1 tapestry needle for weaving in the ends

We have 2 alpacas and 11 sheep. We carry sportsweight and DK (light worsted) yarns in white and different shades of gray. Some of it is spun and blended by hand. I also dye yarn with plants from our garden (indigo, coreopsis, madder, marigold) and with acid dyes from the Greener Shades brand.
