These lovely basket weave socks are an interesting knit using two different weights of yarn but without being too complicated for the average knitter. The final socks are exceptionally cozy and make a great thick boot sock or just something snuggly for cold winter nights. The Gems yarn is great quality and is very durable. I knit up a pair of these socks four years ago before deciding to even write out the pattern and I wear them often throughout the cold seasons. They are extremely durable and become even softer and cozier with each wear and wash (an easy wash with air dry has worked perfectly every time). These are a wonderful unisex pattern that can be done in a range of different color combinations. I hope you enjoy these socks as much as I do!
