BattleField Shawl
About Battle Field Shawl was designed for a dear friend who is almost finished with treatments; to help her through those tough days.
The curved shape stands to protect the individual as they wrap it around their body to keep warm. The basket stitch is to visualize the bumpy road they must travel to defeat this beast.
It is an internal and external battle that scratches the cure of the beautiful soul we all know and love dearly. Let us support those in battle with comfort and love as they travel this path to victory.
The Battle Field shawl is crescent shaped with an attached basket stitch panel. A lightweight piece that can hang from shoulders or be wrapped around the shoulders to keep the chill away.

The panel is attached to the body by knitting the last 2 stitches together on right side and slipping it purl wise on wrong side, then wrapping the yarn towards the back to knit following stitch.
