The pattern includes instructions (written patterns and charts) for making small, medium and large baubles as well as small and large icicles.

Using this pattern, you will be able to knit plain baubles and icicles, using solid colors, shiny or multicolored yarn at your chose. Along with that, they can serve as a great starting point for any further decoration.

The baubles are knitted in the round and shaped with knitting increases and decreases. You can use double pointed or circular needles.

You also need:
Wool needle
Toy filling
Ribbon or thread to make a hanging loop

Baubles may be knit in any yarn weight. You can use any kind of yarn, any wool, cotton, acrylic etc.
Bauble’s size depends on your yarn, knitting tension and filling density.

Large bauble: d=6cm (2.4in); 5g – 27m (30yd)
Medium bauble: d=5cm (2in); 4g – 22m (24yd)
Small bauble: d=4.5cm (1.8in); 2g – 11m (12yd)
Large Icicle: w=3.5cm (1.3in); 3g – 17m (19yd)
Small Icicle: w=2.5cm (1); 2g – 11m (12yd)
