The Bearalyn McRaggle pattern makes an 8-1/2” bear when crocheted with DK (double knitting) weight yarn and an E crochet hook. You can use different thread and hook sizes to make her larger or smaller; just use the same size hook and thread for the bear and the clothes. For instance, you can make a 3-inch bear by using punch thread or size 12 perle cotton and a size 12 hook, or a bear about 11 to 12 inches with worsted weight yarn and a G or H hook.

The pattern includes the jointed bear (cotter pin and disk-jointed neck, and thread-jointed limbs - instructions included) with incorporated shoes and striped stockings, dress with attached apron, bloomers, and hair bow.

The pattern is clearly written, with a great deal of detail. It contains 14 pages and includes several color photos of the bear.
