Beech Hill is worked flat in one piece starting from the back hem. Stitches are then divided and the left and right fronts are worked separately.

YARN The Fibre Co. Acadia (60% merino wool, 20% baby alpaca + 20% silk; 145 yds/50 gm skein): mountain ash, 7 (11) skeins.
GAUGE 18 sts + 25 rows = 4” (10 cm) in St st, after blocking.
