Pattern description from Knitting Little Luxuries: “This design uses yarns from opposite ends of the spectrum to create distinctly fresh effects: The long scarf is knitted in a metallic silver ribbon to create a slinky, steely piece, while the wrap on page 63 is worked in a soft, fuzzy yarn. The stitch pattern has cables on the sides, which creates an uneven edge and gives the pieces a modern, almost futuristic feel.”

Yarn: Chunky weight (#5 Bulky)
Louisa Harding Thalia (52% polyamid, 24% acrylic, 12% mohair, 6% metallic; 93 yd 85 m/50 g): #1 natural, 3 hanks.

Needles: U.S. size 11 (8 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Cable needle; fine-eyed tapestry needle; eight 3/4” (2 cm) mother-of-pearl buttons
