These baby socks have a simple cuff down construction with a heel flap and gussets.
A ribbon or icord is added to secure the socks around the baby’s ankles.

They fit a baby of about 6-9 months.

The pattern just defines “rounds” or “rows”. It works equally well for double pointed needles or Magic Loop.

Parts of the leg and foot are worked with two colours at a time and since many people knit at a tighter gauge when knitting stranded the instructions tell you to switch to smaller needles for the single coloured rows.
