Billy Biker Amigurumi Doll Pattern By Odessa Tilly

Time to complete: Approx 10 hours

Crochet pattern written in UK terms.
Pattern is abbreviated (with key).
(Written instructions provided for parts that need it)

I would class this pattern as Easy. Most of the doll is made with double crochet, with some chain stitch and slip stitch, and simple double crochet increases and decreases.

Previous experience of working flat, working in the round, working in back stitches, basic shaping, and crochet along side stitches is assumed.

Gauge is unimportant - however the original pattern was created using DK acrylic yarn, and a 3mm hook . Any yarn/hook combination will work as long as it produces tight stitches

Height of finished doll: Using a 3mm hook and DK yarn, the doll will stand (from foot to top of head spike) at 36cm/14 inches. This will vary depending on the yarn/hook combination you use.

What you need:

3mm crochet hook
2.5mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle (for sewing pieces together)
Safety eyes (10mm used for pictured doll, but use larger eyes if using thicker yarn/bigger hook, or smaller eyes if using thinner yarn/smaller hook)
Polyester filling (for stuffing the doll)
A Stitch Marker (optional, for keeping track of rounds)
Pins (Optional, for holding parts together while sewing)
Yarn in colours; Cream, Black, light blue, dark blue, grey - using Dk yarn, you shouldnt need more than 100g of any colour (this will differ if using a heavier or lighter yarn).
