This pattern was designed for Super Sock Scarefest 2016 and is inspired by the film The Blair Witch Project.

The pattern features textured lace motifs representing the cairns of stones and twig figures the filmmakers find in the forest, finished with a twisted rib for the trees.

The pattern specifies three sizes and the foot length can be varied as required. The socks are knit toe-up and incorporate a mini heel flap to deepen the short-row heel. The lace sections include three-into-one increases and decreases, as well as a row which uses the Estonian Vikkel braid technique.

Any fingering weight sock yarn may be used but a solid or semi-solid is recommended.
