Bleeding hearts are one of my favorite flowering bushes. The blossoms are so simple, yet elegant and graceful. The lace motif running down the front of the leg and instep is reminiscent of these pretty spring flowers.

Sizes: Women’s small (medium, large, x-large), leg circumference approximately 6.5 (7.5, 8.5, 9.5)” unstretched. Sample shown in size medium.

Materials:
• 1 skein Schoeller+Stahl Fortissima Mexiko Cotton Stretch (41% Virgin Wool, 39% Cotton, 13% Nylon, 7% Polyester; 460m, 100g.), color 0046 shades of pink, or similar fingering weight yarn.
• 1 set of size US0 (2.0mm) double point knitting needles (or size required for gauge)
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers (optional)

Gauge: 36 sts and 52 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch. For additional sizes, try working at 34 or 38 sts = 4”.
