The socks are knit from the toe up with a choice of 2 sizes. There is a large lace panel (the climbing vines) running up the top of the foot and front of the leg. The back of the leg is a garter stitch ribbing that resembles a trellis for the vines to cling to. Don’t worry if you haven’t knit a toe up sock before! This pattern takes you through the steps.

The pattern is currently available only to the TheKnitter.com’s Luxury Sock Club members. It will be available to the general public February 2010.
