Blinky the Bear is a fun project to make because it is knit in one piece with the Magic Loop Method. This bear has no loose parts which makes him/her a safe gift for all ages!

Finished size is approximately 18” tall.

This pattern is written with clear instructions for each individual round/row written out with check boxes so you will always know where you are in the pattern, Pattern is 20 pages.

Experience: Intermediate Level.

Yarn:
Universal Uptown Worsted Tapestry, 270 yds. (Approx. 1 ½ skeins) (Blinky may be worked in your choice of yarn. You may need to adjust the needle size to ensure a dense knitted fabric and this may change Blinky’s finished size.)
3 Yds. of black yarn of same weight for face embroidery.
2 Yds. of contrasting color waste yarn for temporarily holding stitches.

Needles:
US 7/4.5mm 40 – 60” circular or size to obtain a dense fabric that will not show stuffing.

Other supplies:
 Soft poly fill for stuffing
 Blunt tipped darning needle for Kitchener stitch grafting and placing sts on waste yarn (Metal, not plastic)
 2 Sharp, straight tipped darning needles for face embroidery (Metal, not plastic)
