This is a simple pattern that combines basic stitches with a fresh, bright colourway to create a beautiful blanket suitable for beginners or more advanced crocheters alike. I have included additional explanations and tips to support those new to crochet…you don’t need complicated techniques and stitches to make something beautiful!

I have used Stylecraft Special DK to make this blanket but any DK will do. The amount of yarn used will depend on your tension but it is likely that you will only use around half a 100g ball of each of the 5 colours.

My finished blanket measures approximately 72cm wide by 67cm long. I have included details of how to add to adjust the size of the blanket should you wish to make a larger size.
