Bluet is a lacy, seamless cowl knit in the round on a circular needle using sport weight or DK weight yarn.

Blocked measurements: 8.5 inches/22 cm height by 36 inches/92 cm circumference

Gauge: 21 sts/31 rows = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch after blocking.

Yardage: 430 yds/393 m sport/DK weight yarn. Sample was knit with Louet Gems Sport Weight 100% merino wool; 225yd/206m per 3.5 oz/100g skein; color: Aqua, 2 skeins.

A note about yardage: The original sample in Louet Gems Sport Weight used nearly all of two skeins (about 430 yards). However, a second sample in Stitch Sprouts Yellowstone (285 yards per 100g skein) required only less than one skein, or about 270 yards. Your mileage may vary, depending on your yarn and gauge.

Needle: US #5/3.75mm 24-inch circular needle OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE

Pattern difficulty: Advanced beginner

Skills required: Cast on, bind off, knit, purl, yarn overs and decreases, twisted stitches, working in the round on a circular needle.
