Bluetail is a simple and stylish accessory made using the Tunisian crochet technique.

Working from one corner to the opposite corner creates vertically-oriented ridges that have a beautiful texture thanks to the alternating rows of Tunisian simple stitch and Tunisian purl stitch.

  • Yarn: Vivacious 4 ply by Fyberspates, 100% merino, 399 yd (365 m) per 100 g skein, in shade Deep Aqua, two skeins
  • Hook: US G (4 mm)
  • Yarn needle to weave in ends

  • 22 sts and 19 rows = 4’’ (10 cm)

  • Wingspan 67 ¾’’ (172 cm)
  • Depth 15 ¾’’ (40cm)

The size of the kerchief can be adjusted by working fewer or more rows.
