Flycatcher is a lacy scarf with a richly textured stitch pattern.

It is worked lengthwise (along the longest side). However it may be worked along the short edge instead. This is a great stash-buster project so you will have the opportunity to use the whole amount of your chosen yarn.

MATERIALS

  • Yarn: Signature 4 Ply by West Yorkshire Spinners in shade 360 Bubblegum, 75% wool, 25% nylon, 437 yds (400 m) per 100 g ball, two balls in total
  • Hook: US D (3.25 mm)
  • Yarn needle to weave in ends

GAUGE

  • 6 PRs and 10 rows = 4” x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm)

FINISHED SIZE

  • Length 81’’ (206 cm)
  • Width 8¼’’ (21 cm)

The size of the scarf can be adjusted by working fewer or more rows or changing the number of PRs.
