What am I missing?
Bo Peep Gloves
Bo Peep are delicate and feminine and as part of our un-planned design tradition they come topped with a cute little button. We both got so excited when we came across the lace pattern in Barbara Walker’s First Treasury and couldn’t stop ourselves dreaming of Little Bo Peep counting the sheep running up the palm and skipping through the raindrop eyelets of the fingers and thumb!
The cotton/tencel blend gives them a dewy, early morning sunshiny sheen — perfect for the daily plant watering routine; however don’t try gardening in them! These lacy mitts are for the finer things in life.
Bo Peep is the ninth pattern to be released under the Loumms Year of Socks.
The link above is for the Second Edition of Bo Peep, updated 18-10-11, to include all known errata.

Revised thumb set up!
Right hand: On the second repeat of the pattern, the one before you want to work the thumb set up round, work row 8 to the last 4 sts.
Thumb set up row : with a length of scrap yarn k the 4 remaining sts on needle 3 and the first 4 sts on needle 1. Slip these 8 sts back to their respective needles and knit across with working yarn, then k 4, continue in established pattern (yo, ssk, k6) to the end of the round
Left hand:
Thumb set up row: work established pattern over the first 12 sts of needle 1, with scrap yarn k the 4 remaining sts oon needle 1 and the first 4 sts on needle 2, slip these sts back to their respective needles and knit back across with the working yarn, k4, continue in established pattern (yo, ssk, 6) to the end of the round
Couple of new ones!!
When working the 8 rows of the pattern, for the second repeat and all following, ignore the cast on 4 sts at the beginning of row 1 and work from; yo, ssk, k6
keyhole row #3: is missing a * after the first K2
keyhole row #7: pattern says “to the last 3 sts” but it should say “to the last 2 sts”
keyhole row #8: pattern says to K last 3 sts, but it should be P last 3 sts
keyhole row #10: pattern should say
”…to last 12 sts, yo, p5, yo, p3tog, p4”
in the “set up for thumb” section, the right/left hand instructions are backwards. the left thumb waste yarn should be added to needle ONE, not three. the right thumb waste yarn should be added to needle THREE, not one.
i’ll let you know if i find anything else as i go along
