I love knitting cables, but there are only so many thick, cabley sweaters one can wear. The Bombshell Shorts take those same addictive, challenging cables and puts them in a new place - on your booty! A covered elastic waistband means they’re comfy, but belt loops keep you classy. These shorts will look hot with boots and tights or knee socks, topped with a vest or blazer. The Bombshell Shorts take your booty from Summer to Fall in style.

These shorts are knit from the bottom- up, making them the perfect try-as-you- go knit. It’s an easy pattern to customize - add more length if you want to cover more leg, or make them high or low waisted. I’ve even included instructions for adding shaping to the booty if you’ve got a bit more junk in the trunk! Because of the cabling, these shorts are very stretchy, which is why each size fits a wide variety of measurements. If you’re on the larger end of one size and want the shorts to fit loosely, knit one size up.

Note About Yardage: Please consider how you want your shorts to fit before purchasing yarn. If you want your short length longer than pictured, or if you want the elastic to hit higher, you’ll need more yarn. If you want short shorts and low rise shorts, you’ll need less yarn. Use the recommended yardage requirements as a starting off point.
