This slouchy brioche hat is worked in the round, and begins with a garter stitch border that alternates the 2 colours of the hat.
The body of the hat is basic brioche knitting that is finished off with double decreases at the crown.
The hat will comfortably fit a 22-inch head but has lots of stretch to fit a larger size.
You will need a 16-inch circular needle in a size that gives you gauge, plus 2 skeins, one of each colour - 200 metres of each should be plenty.
The pattern includes 5 photo tutorial pages to clarify working brk (brioche knits), brp (brioche purls), picking up dropped stitches and yarn overs (shawls), fixing mistakes, and changing yarns at the beginning of round markers.
The pattern was designed to help a newer brioche knitter create a beautiful and successful hat.
Enjoy!
