Perfect for fall, these little fair isle mitts are knit in shades of rust, brown and cream, with flashes of purple and orange, set against a background of turquoise blue. They have a thumb gusset and there are charts for left and right hands. One size to fit woman’s hand circumference 7-7.5 inches (18-19 cm).

A great stash-buster, the mitts call for small amounts of fingering weight yarn in two main shades along with 5 contrast shades. The finished mitts together weigh approximately 26g.

Suitable for knitters who are comfortable knitting stranded colour work in the round.

Yarns used: J C Rennie’s Supersoft Lambswool 4ply, with a small amount of Rowan Fine Tweed.
