If you purchase 3 patterns from my Ravelry Store at the same time (add them all to your cart before you check out), the least expensive one will be free.

Perfect for fall, these little fair isle mitts call for small amounts of fingering weight yarn in one main shade and 6 contrast colours. The pattern is suitable for knitters who are comfortable knitting stranded colourwork in the round and reading charts.

The mitts are knit in the round from bottom cuff upwards, using the stranded technique with only two colours in any one round.
They have thumb gussets, and the pattern includes charts for left and right hands.

One size to fit hand circumference 7 - 7.5” (18 - 19cm).

The pattern includes two colourways:
1) Original colourway in J C Rennie Supersoft Lambswool 4ply in shades of browns, aqua blue, cream, purple and orange, with a little bit of Rowan Fine Tweed 4ply wool in a toning shade of rust brown.

2) Gathered Sheep Yarns 100% Shetland wool 3ply, hand-dyed in shades of dark purple, grey, olive green, walnut brown, oatmeal, bright blue and red.

Kits (yarn only) are available for the Gathered Sheep Yarns colourway here:

The shop sample mitts (beautifully knit by kimknitessex on Ravelry) are reflected in the pattern charts; my own (hgd11 on Ravelry) sample mitts transposed The Olive Tree and Oatmeal colours (not charted but you could totally knit them that way if you wanted!)
