Knit from two skeins of striping yarn - this project is addictive. An excellent opportunity to try two-handed knitting if you haven’t already done so (check out www.philosopherswool.com for a great instructional video). Both charts and fully written out instructions are provided with this pattern.

I got two hats from two skeins of Mini Mochi: one small hat using US 3/3.25mm needles for my husband who requested a hat that skimmed the tops of his ears. I realized I had enough yarn left for another, and so knit a larger hat using US 5/3.75mm needles. I could have rewound one skein of Mini Mochi yarn into two smaller skeins and made one lovely warm hat for about $8.50.

All proceeds from my patterns are donated to March of Dimes whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
