Hi there! Thank you for checking out my pattern, “Breckenridge”. I created this pattern while staying in Breckenridge -- a very adorable mountain town in Colorado. Surrounded by trees and snow, the natural colors were inspired directly from my surroundings. Knitting this hat allows you to take a little piece of Breckenridge wherever you travel…

Level - Intermediate

Measurements - ~21” circumference, 9” tall from brim to crown.

Materials -

  • 80-100 yards of main color (MC), 40-60 yards of contrasting color (CC1), and 40-60 yards of contrasting color 2 (CC2). I used The Fibre Co.’s “Acadia” in colorway Sand for MC, colorway Summersweet for CC1, and colorway Moraine for CC2. The weight of the yarn is DK.
  • Size US 4.0 3.50mm 16” circular needles
  • Size US 6.0 4.00mm 16” circular needles
  • Stitch Marker
  • Tapestry needle to weave in ends and sew in pom pom
  • Pom pom (can be handmade)
  • Optional: Size US 6.0 4.00mm double pointed needles for the crown of the hat.
