This adorable baby/toddler sweater makes a great addition to the wardrobe of any little one. Choose one of two intarsia motifs (a sailboat or a whale) inspired by the story of St. Brendan the Navigator, an Irish monk said to have sailed from Ireland to Newfoundland in the 6th century. A classic sailor style collar provides the perfect finishing touch for your little voyager’s traveling wardrobe. Skills required beyond basic knit and purl include knowledge of intarsia and short rows.

Charts are provided for the intarsia sailboat and whale motifs.
