This pattern was designed for Twisted’s Single Skein Club, and was given to members in April along with a skein of natural colored, bulky wool yarn, 5 packets of Kool-Aid, and dyeing instructions!

The pattern pdf includes a photo tutorial for the optional pom pom toppers, and links to the yarn dyeing tutorials…

see the dyeing tutorials here, here, and here!

From the pattern pdf:

I love hats, like seriously, I couldn’t live without them, and I really like my hats to pop! Obviously, I also love love love color, but I understand that different people have different tastes, when it comes to both color and style. So, I’ve designed this hat with hand-dyed yarn in mind, but of course it’s completely up to you how to dye your yarn - solid, striped, or variegated - and whether you even dye it at all.
The hat is also designed with style flexibility in mind - wear it brim-down for an oversized, slouchy style, or brim-up for a completely different, more classic look. This hat is all about personalization - make it how you want it, and keep your head warm in your own style!
