This two-row repeat brioche scarf is a great place to get to grips with your brioche knitting. By the time you have completed this scarf, you’ll have had lots of practice.

The scarf is in a single size length: 213 cm / 84 ins, width: 28 cm / 11 ins but can be easily adjusted by adding an extra repeat and more length (additional yarn will be required).

The scarf uses 150g in each of 2 colours of double-knitting weight yarn. The sample is knit in two colours of Tibetan Silk DK from Banshee Yarns which is a perfect yarn for this project as it has great stitch definition and a lovely silk sheen.

However, other DK yarns are equally suitable, I’m very tempted by Coop Knits Socks Yeah DK, but perhaps a little swatch to make sure it works.

You will need a 3.5mm 100cm-long circular needle (although an 80cm or 120cm would be just fine!), 4 stitchmarkers, scissors, darning needle.

I regularly host brioche workshops and have a brioche masterclass available if you fancy it. Get in touch via Ravelry messenger if you fancy it.
