These slipper socks are worked in one continuous piece from toe through heel! They are quick and easy enough for a dedicated beginner, interesting enough in design to be a fun project for experienced crocheters. These would make a great gift! The heel shaping that allows these to be made in one piece makes for a great fit, snug right in the arch of the foot:)

I have made several pairs of these using various DK/Light Worsted weight yarns so just some thoughts that hopefully will be helpful… I loved this Plymouth DK Merino and would definitely recommend using a yarn with some give as it makes them fit so nice (at least some wool, nylon and/or elastic). A nice thing about these being designed for DK weight is most sock (fingering #1) yarns (and there are soooo many gorgeous ones to choose from - solid, variegated, self-striping, etc) held double-stranded will work! (just go by gauge)
