Bubbles Triangle is a contemporary lace shawl featuring a circular motif in drop stitch mesh, a variation of my original Camino Bubbles pattern.

The project is easy to knit with yarn overs, decreases and dropped stitches, and is easily customizable in size.

The bubble motif looks good with highly variegated yarns and more subtle variations.

The sample was knit on 4mm/US6 needles with 1 ball, 100g/420m/460yds of Schoppel-Wolle Crazy Zauberball 1537.

The shape is somewhere between a triangle and a semi-circle due to the structure of the bubble pattern.

Finished dimensions: approximately 180cm/71in across by 87cm/34in deep
Gauge: approximately 11sts and 19 rows = 10cm/4in in drop stitch pattern
For a denser shawl use a smaller needle and allow more yarn.
