A perfect wee Gansey for babies and toddlers, incorporating beautiful patterns from Scotland and knitted in the traditional way in the round, with gussets underarm and a wee neck flap with button to allow for easy wear.
I have chosen some beautiful patterns, mostly from the East Neuk of Fife; zigzags, herringbone and parallel lines, along with a very special ‘seeding’ pattern. The flexibility of this seeding pattern helps in creating the different sizes of the garment and is used in the welt, as a side seam, on the cuff and at the shoulder and neck.
