This undulating Bulb Stitch teaches two beading techniques: slipping beads and placing beads, plus my favorite integrated I-cord edging. Use the stitch in a cuff or a necklace, or even a headband. It’s easy to add more repeats should you want the piece longer or shorter.

I’ll never tire of designing simple beaded cuff stitches. I played with this puppy for hours to get it just right and loved every minute of it. One thing I learned is that it needs to be knit at a dense gauge to keep the bulb from rolling: The whole undulating effect is lost if it’s not knit tightly enough.
