This is a striped chevron cowl knit in the round. I’ve used the striping sequence from Jared Flood’s Noro Striped Scarf and incorporated it into a chevron pattern for a lovely no-purling pattern.

The pattern calls for 4 skeins of Noro Silk Garden: 2 skeins of one colourway and 1 each of two other colourways. But you can use any Aran weight yarn and stripe as you wish. Or use one variegated yarn! You can also knit this pattern up with worsted weight yarn, though for a worsted yarn I would add stitches.
